Met Mark there and had the tour. What a place these guys have. Any gear head would be envious. The cool old stuff there is freeken awesome!!!

Thanks for opening up and letting me see the place. Hope to be back in August.

It was great having you out Mike. That's one cool little hot rod you're piloting! Enjoy the Plunkett show with the other cats tomorrow.

Had a great time at the show. One of the nicest shows you will ever go to. Met up with Atomsplitter and Hemi who were camped there for the weekend.

Met 2 fine ladies who couldn't get enough of my truck!

Hey Mike, any chance you could post a build thread or pics and details about your truck?

Looks cool and would love to know more about it.

Great show! A few thousand cars! They need to do something with the flow of traffic to get in.Should have 4 lanes coming in instead of 2(I am sure the police could close the road off to non car show traffic)-saw a few cars overheat waiting in line. Met a few people -although it seemed no one was by their cars as they were checking all the neat rides out.
Keep on cruising!!!

Dave

I just want to say that our time with Dan (HEMI43) and Ron (ATOMSPLITTER) was a good time. The guys needed some supplies so off to P.A. for tires, and the LCBO for Petron, and then on to the ELTA garage. We ended up with about 15 guys eating pizza and having a couple of adult beverages.  I didn't have a camera with me but I think Fordy may have some shots.

I have to thank Dan for the beautiful name plates he cut for me.  I'll be using them on the 57 with the crossed flags.  Just a great job Da and thank you very much!!!

Wayne

No problem Wayne, thanks for having us. Hopefully you'll post some pics of them installed.

Yes, thanks for the warm welcome to all of the E.L.T.A. guys.
I haven't met a friendlier group and thanks for the pizza and beer!

The weekend started off with a flat tire on the trailer but we with the help of Wayne and my credit card, we had a safe trip home!

I told Atomsplitter we could probably throw a tube in it and be done with it.

I was shocked that the tire was made in China !! I could have sworn it was an Italian tire, because it went WOP WOP WOP after the blow out !!biggrinbiggrin

Yeah, I know !! I've used that joke before, but it's such a good one!! winkwinkwink

Maybe next year just buy your beer there instead of carting it across the 401
