take the peddels and everything - you might have it a while but someone will likely want it

I was told , some time ago now they have (had?) a 70's dodge "street van" up at national moparts in beaverton that's supposed to be in good condition

lol
road runners are not rare either.. my 66 coronet that came with o-e power windows , ya kinda with only 300 odd built out of a total of 45000 units

it's a 383 auto, 323 sure grip (o-e ?) ,ps - pb , big drum ,duel exhaust ,bucket console ,500 hard top to boot too
- garbage bag green with black top -- an original toronto car that's still saveabley solid too

I really should put it back together sometime - I have a 66-7 charger dash cluster and glovebox door I had chromed to go in it too

a dodge van with std trans - not very common
a guy I went to school with had a sweet black shortie - 318 stick and hoped up a little

it ran 15.87 with a full 70's style interior in it and was really good for snapping driveshafts lol

there were only 11 standard astrovans sold in Canada, I had one actually, from a friend of mine.  it was rotted out though but I kept the trans as well, they junk though so its not worth much

Some of them had a funky shift linkage if i remember right the forward location of the shifter made them desirable for pickup swaps.

I drove a early 90's van years ago that was a 5 speed. A friend borrowed it from a friend of his but he couldn't drive a standard. I ended up driving it. I thought it was odd that a full size fan had a 5 speed in it. Not sure if it was a V8 though, if I remember correctly it was gutless.

Rare yes, the only one I've ever seen.  Desirable, no.

I have seen a couple with the 3.9, but never seen one with a V8. One of the suppliers for a machine shop my friend owns had about 3 of them, all shorty vans, with the 3.9/5 Speed combo.

 astro t5.jpg

it bolted into the original opening as a s10 but move the shifter over closer to the driver. i tossed it i don't need extra linkage.
