Truly a shock

I met Kevin on this forum a became friends

He came out and visited the shop a few times

He had a quick wit and was a very generous soul

I spoke with him only a few weeks ago and he had positive spirits

A true shame that a good man has passed

Kev was keeping a tight lip about what was going on and he really didn't want anyone to see him in his condition. Talking to his wife today I was surprised to find out I was one of a few people he would let into the house. As Glenn had posted earlier he was In good spirits and positive he would get better and pretty much stayed that way till Sunday when his body gave out. So if any of you tried to get ahold of him and he never got back to you it was nothing personal . Just dealing with life on life's terms the best he could.

For those of you who have time and would Like to see a brother get a proper send off they will be having a simple service at MA Clark and Son's 567 Upper Wellington St in Hamilton . Monday June 9. Bit of a get together at 10 service at 11. Any and all of you are welcome his family will appreciate it .

I was very sad to hear this news. Kev was the first Rodder I met when I came to Canada, and was always a kind and generous soul in the short time I knew him.

It makes you realise how fragile life is, and we should all make the best of the time we have.

I will say goodbye to Kev on Monday.
