Well I was on my way to Plunkett's this morning and was a block away waiting in line and my clutch gave out. Pushed it down a side street out of traffic and crawled under to have a look. Yep cable is screwed. I send a txt to Shaggin (Mike) to see if he knows where I can get a tow to. Without hesitation he opened up his shop which is normally closed Saturday, called his jobber to get parts delivered and then installs it for me! Fast Elvis showed up with coffees and before you know it i was on the road again. Big thanks to Mike, you saved my hide today brother.
Mike bailed my arse out when, en route to Detroit with my Delray in March, the alternator on my truck quit not 5 minutes from home. Without hesitation, Mike (along with Mark and Terry from Canadian Hot Rods Magazine) jumped in his truck and hauled a$$ from London to hook up to my trailer and make the trip to the Motor City.
Couldn't say enough about Mike. Humble and happy to help. I'm not surprised at all, Grumper.
