A huge happy fathers day and respect for/to all you Dads out there.

I hope you all enjoy your day and get to spend some time with your kids having fun. What ever that is for you and yours.

And for everyone of you that is doing a project with your kids and you think they aren't into it.... don't get disheartened.

Of course, I didn't realize it at the time.....that the best memories I have with mine would be those times working on something/anything together. Doesn't have to be car/hot rod related.

My Dad's  been gone 16yrs now, but they stuck!! He left all those great memories with me and I take  him with me in all my new finds/adventures. smile

Yes, Schomberg Fairgrounds. Pretty sure it's 11:00 to 3:00. It's not well publicised so I don't know what the turnout will be like. I will probably go there around 10:30

If you spend it with YOUR Son, there will be no need for it to go by quickly. Take a little time to reflect on your Dad's life and then enjoy the rest of the day with the rest of the family.

Happy Fathers Day.

No greater feeling in the world to hear those words..."Hey Dad" and no better accomplishment to see your father look at how you raised your kids with pride.

Sorry to hear that hemi43. This is our first without my father-in-law. It's not the same but what can you do, life goes on. You just have to carry on what he would have done.

My father died 43 years ago, a day doesn't go by that I don't think about him. Still try to do things that I think he might be proud of ......doesn't always work out that way!

I had a good Fathers day. Woke up to breakfast in bed with my wife, then the kids brought me breakfast in bed. Went to my parents place and BBQ'd, ate, drank and had a few laughs.

That show in Schomberg turned out to be great. 200 cars, over 1000 spectators, live entertainment, lots of vendors, kids attraction!! And it was the first time for them. And this in a town of 5000.
