Hey model a guy I would say more along the lines of a

Resto mod ,, not that there is any thing wrong wirh that

Lack of body mods make me say that .Drop an original

Driveline unnder that your a two door modela sedan again

BEAUTIFUL. I am building my 34 chev pu the same way

All original on the outside , Modified underneath

Your list doesn't have any 'hot rods' in the true sense. Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger never have been hot rods...never will be. Hot cars...yes, hot rods no. Prowler is a factory version of a perceived hot rod. With what the car companies have to include into a new car the prowler is real close to the look. PT Cruiser and HHR are are built to the look and style of the 40's and 50's. Even Ford had their try at it with the late 50's styled T Bird when everybody else was giving it a go. The concept stirred some people up and they saw it as a way to be included. Since it didn't carry on and faded out, it can be looked at as a fad more than anything. Kind of like CB radios, truckers had them, then everybody had them, and now only truckers still have them. A fad.

Geeez Joe!! Resto Mod??? I have to go take a Tylenol you hurt my feelings so bad. I guess you could have called it worse, you could have called it a Dodge!

I have to disagree with the body mod statement, eg. most roadsters don't have any body mods other than losing the fenders. Not all hot rods are chopped and fenderless. As for the 3 pedals [it would be 4 if I had a clutch], some of us have had our fill of 4 [more or less] speeds for every day driving, we've been there done that, let the young guys have their turn. Call my car what you will, when I get in and drive it, it's a Hot Rod!

Generally even the roadsters have some mods chopped

Windshields lowered or carson tops 32 rad shells no hoods or hood tops only

Needless to say though whatever you or I or anybody else wants to call your car

It is a beautiful ride

No insult taken !! I can see why Bruce is a bit upset. I would be pissed too having to drive a Ford in a 90's era pastel colour. Probably tweed interior too !! biggrin biggrin I get even too !!

Dan, one negative comment about my car, or its' colour, does not bother me in the least! Especially when it comes from a narrow minded driver of a Liberal Red Dodge! As far as a tweed interior goes, you will have to find that out for yourself. I know, you could care less!

Now if I could just figure out if you have an inferiority complex, or a superiority complex. I know it's one or the other, maybe your next reply will help me decide.
