Got a panic call from my brother that he'd restored an old safe and it was imperative that it get striped right away , might have to do with the fact that it would

quickly be covered in overspray in his bodyshop and the fact that like every other flat surface in his shop, would become a table or catchall,lol.. Anyway, didn't go

overboard, was asked to just fancy things up a bit, forgot the iPad so this was the wonderful photos... If I can get any better ones before it dissappears today I will

replace these ones...

Is it just the picture or are they wheels\casters built into the legs ? Id sure hate to be the poor bastard that has to move it and not scratch the new paint.

Slim, yup they are heavy casters, the only time I've ever seen them do any good is on their way up the deck of the slide off truck with a winch wrapped around the shell! Those ones are super easy Dan, turn 'em inside out and shake the f#$@ out of them...

a flashback, many years ago, 25ish, when the business was just getting up to speed i was at an auction in downtown belleville for an old woolworth's or kresgie's ?? hoping for some cheap office stuff. in the farthest back corner from the street on the second floor was a safe quite similar to that one about 4ft high by 3ft x 3ft approx with the same style wheels. thinking some day i might need a safe and it was going cheap at around a hundred bucks i owned it. after a couple of attempts with 2-3 guys i never did get it out of there. when i did buy one of similar size with no wheels i knew enough to buy it delivered to where it sits today. lesson learned, lol.
seeing this one makes me think maybe i should of tried harder to get it out as it sure would of made a nice piece of functional office furniture. chris, would you happen to know what the total price would of been on this, just curious. nice work by both you and steve on it.

the price all in including the purchase price. i did a snoop on them awhile ago and some can get expensive depending on the brand name and condition, etc.  just ball park it if you like.
