My annual BBQ will be on the Aug 16 this year. Last year I left it kinda late so I thought I would move it up a bit.
I will be firing up my smoker putting on some pork shoulder for pulled pork sandwiches. There will also be side dishes too.
The BBQ will be served around 5:00pm as piggy will need to cook all day. You are welcome to show up any time. I have space to park campers if you choose not to drive home that night.
Please bring your own chairs and preferred beverages.

Damn Mike...can't make it. That's the weekend for the 60th Anniversary for the Brantford Piston Pushers. That day is the dinner and dance, then the big show at the Paris Fairgraounds the next day.

Mike, once again too much going on that weekend, already have two events that I have been asked to attend that I am juggling, a third would just make my head explode,and you don't want to see the junk that will fall out after that sort of mess...

mike i gotta ask, i am hearing a couple of rumors around here about this yrs shin-dig and i need to hear the answer from the horses mouth so to speak. the first one i heard was about the prize for the furthest traveled to get there, an all expense paid trip to this yrs barrett/jackson auction in scottsdale, az. this could be possible with the right connections so i will give you the benefit of the doubt. but the second one is way out there, i don't care if your uncle was the king of england to pull this off. i hear the band for the evening is the rolling stones.

Well the rumors do get a little twisted. Long distance award is an express trip too the front of the chow line. It's worth only slightly less that a Barrett/Jackson trip.
As for the band, well Mick and I couldn't agree. He said he wasn't singing till he got fed. I said if he puts on a good show I'll feed him and the band. No dice. I called Johnny Winter to fill in. Guess he's not coming either.
The other question I had was about significant others. Yes they are welcome , bring wife or girl friend (not both). Your kids are welcome too.
