Nifty site, I stumbled over you all while surfin around.
Before you ask, I have always had difficulty posting photos on these forums, thats not to say I won't give it a go once I introduce myself.
I have been involved with motorcycles my entire life and have built a couple of custom bikes, which got me to thinking, hey! How about a pickup truck? So I'm curently into my second year of a 56 f-100 build. So far I have the majority of the chassis completed and have started to reassemle it.
I hope to start to get all the cab fixings done over this winter, controls, steering wheel etc. In hopes to be able to start and run the engine next spring.
Well thats my quick intro, I hope to find advice and possible sharring of knowlage, as well as possible get together hot rod functions.
Welcome Aboard! Great project and I couldn't help noticing the excellent placement of your distributor! And it's a "speeder" too! Very well done!!! That chassis looks sweet- is it an Art Morrison?

Thanks forty achers, im not sure where you see the distributer, I did have a mock up engine in the first picture, or possibly you are refering to a Ford engine in a Ford?
the chassis is my own fabrication built off of the original with 2" more kick up in the rear to acomidate the four link, I didnt want to put all the work into a 58 yr old frame with stress cracks and such, so I just bought new steel and went at it.
Welcome from the Milton area, Great looking project. Look forward to seeing more of the build as you go along. Enjoy the site.

Welcoim hopping to macke from Niagara. Great pics and good job on the chassis. I,m sure it will be a knockout when finished. great job.
Thank you 51 skyline, I hoping to make a nice job of it, im going for a resto mod, sport truck thing, i want to make it as much a corner carver as a 56 pickup can be.
Welcome from Brampton. One of my friends built a 56 Ford pickup with a 392 Hemi and pushbutton auto. Went to Niagara Dragway in the day (71-72) and got more looks than the racers. Nice build and incredible detail. Dave
