Friggin flies are driving us to beaver springs dragway,,for the nostalgia races ,we missed grand bend brother Phil gave us the report and said it was amazing,,but the cluster flies here are making imposible to work on the 52 so mayby the border guards can stop the buggers,,maybe they should be banned,,
Leaving with the thrillium thursday behind the rotten dakota, sucks that I didnt get the hitch done on the 52 but then again we have air and no vacume wipers,,
The flies are so bad they are trying to open the screendoor by them selves if anybody has a solution please let me know and if there are some good campsites near beaver springs let me know,,
Ponch, the only positive things about flies is they dont bite but here , they are the worst i have endured since I think 72,,when I was pre devorced ,in Collingwood,,
I hear they won't bother you if you shave off your beard and put on a dress..... Thats what you get for living in the beverly swamp..... Seen jethro the other day by the way.
Jethro's still workin for the city, last time I seen him he had to access the damage when a vet took out the stop sign on our corner {not the vets fault}

Can't aford a a razor or a dress,, still workin on a tooth,,
Never had a problem with cluster flies,, but years ago i looked after an old house (1905) that Toronto people owned.
That house was infested with them, on a sunny day when it was cool out , and i went to check the house, opening the door was an adventure, as those things were flying back and forth steady inside it.
They eventually had the house gutted and insulated and drywalled.
At Least they are not the bloodletting type. A few years back I was north of sudbury making my way across a series of lakes to hit the sturgeon and ran into them full force . Even with deet the full strength stuff they were bouncing off my face like rain . I now understand how they can drive anything in the bush crazy .

You can camp at the drag strip, no charge and the lush grass areas are great and it's easy to slip back to the trailer for a cold one. I have camped there several times. There are no hookups but then I don't know if your Trillium has any. Would also recommend Thompson Ohio, great nostalgic strip and a great Gasser meet coming up the weekend after Labor day.
