Is anyone on here heading to Syracuse next week? We're heading down on Tuesday with a stopover at Darien Lake for the kids to have some fun. Once we hit Syracuse though, it's dad's fun time
Heading down on Thursday, meeting up with Sacotu and company traveling down together.
Going to meet up with the very bad bald guy who is not allowed on this site anymore. Can't say his name but his handle reminds you of a Chrysler engine.
This is going to be quite a party.
Hope the weather holds out.

I will be heading down on Friday, drove the roadster down last year and got caught in that torrential downpour. Wife said no more open cars. So it looks like it will be the 55 Chev this year provided I get it certified and insured in time
It surprises me every year..., it doesn't matter what forum, how few members actually go to this event.
This is a bucket list show, you guys need to see this, to believe it. You just simply can't see it all in a weekend! rightcoastcars.com/syracuse-nationals.php

To each his own Gazoo. Certainly not on my bucket list. Been to shows [NSRA Louisville,Kentucky] where there have been 13,000 cars, couldn't see them all in 5 days, gets so you start walking past them without stopping to look at them. Been to shows [Goodguys Indy] 4000 cars, plus a drag strip right on site, you can watch the drags while you rest. Been to Super Chevy shows in Maple Grove, Pennsylvania, same deal, drag strip right on site, watch the drags while you rest.
The only good thing I can see about Syracuse..... close to the border!

Like I said, to each his own, no disrespect!
Kinda what I meant, it's the closest one, within a few hours driving from Ontario. I've been to other shows as well.
To close for me, just got home from our annual Can-Am Chevelle Gathering at Grand Island. There is a large number from the club going to Syracuse. They say it's a hell of a show.
Yep Heading down on Thursday for the weekend. Will be meeting up with a couple of buds from NS who will be driving the Orange 58 Chevy Yeoman Wagon. Unfortunately I have no car to enter so will be spectating only. Maybe next year.
Headed down Thursday once again to pinstripe for the charity auction known as Artie's Party.. Always look forward to this show, other than the heat, thank god we have Trane Air conditioning as a sponsor! Look for me,I'll be the guy in the black tshirt!

I think Sacotu is leaving Port Hope about the same time. He is coming back from the East coast right now.
I will be picking up behind him when he is passing through Belleville.

Found this video, pretty good overview. Now look closely at the beginning(first car) and your likely to see the recently " your banned" Dan and his award winning Dodge.
Went down to Syracuse with Dan (X) and our respective son's tagged along. Made it a caravan when we met up with Sherwood along the way and we all had a great time. Shared some beers and BS with Sacotu, Lightspeed, The Cat (and his lovely wife), Rob?, Chris, Tavis, and a bunch of great local families we meet up with every year.
Great weather, great show and great friends.
