Looking for a room

My son and his University roommate are biking from Vancouver to Nova Scotia to raise money to teach kids to swim.  They are both lifeguards and the swim school is 30 dollars a child so they felt it was a worthy cause to bike across Canada,  They have biked 3000 kms in 30 days and are on their way to Marathon Ontario in the next few days.  They have been camping some and finding rooms via the internet as they go.  If anyone along the trans canada why has room for them for a night or room for them to set up camp it would be appreciated.  They will be hitting WAWA,  Sault st Marie, North Bay etc. then into Quebec. They bike approx 100 to 180 ams per day.   The website you can look at explaining is Peddle for  drowning Prevention or Derekquickblogspot.  You can also find info on Facebook. Thanks for the help  Steve Quick

Here's the link, www.facebook.com/pages/Lifesaving-Society-Pedal-for-Drowning-Prevention/302794703223082.

I went to see which route they would take, to see if I could maybe help with accommodations.

That's quite a ride.

i m sure they don t want to go to Wawa unless they know people there , i doubt that will enjoy gravel roads

but a soon as they get on this side of Elliot Lake turn off there s plenty of Campsites off the 17 hwy close by and that s like that till they ll reach across North Bay and more . they could come to my place but they would have to make a detour when going by Sudbury almost 25 milles one way

Thanks for all the offers everyone, As they get close to your location I will check with them to see if they are stopping in the area. They generally travel about 100 to 150 kms per day. In marathon On tonight.
