October 2014 issue of Street Rodder magazine has a very good personal history story on Jeff Norwell. (Who is a member on this site) A good read and a worth while look at one of the industries top illustrators. Also, a bonus to this story....there is a part 2. The saga continues......
Went looking for it yesterday at the Walmart mag rack. No joy. (I have seen it there before so assume they were sold out. )Will check Chapters next.

Yet another issue to keep an eye out for! I'm getting quite a collection of Mags featuring our local celebs or their cars!!! I recently got my old discontinued 'Popular Hot Rodding' subscription switched over to 'Street Rodder' too!!!

i kind of forgot about this.... the article was suppose to run in SRP but that mag got canned(with a whole bunch of others) and I thought the article was trashed too.
Anyhow.it was a treat seeing it in my mailbox. If your a subscriber to SRM.. you will get the issue below… the Newstand cover is different for October.no idea what it is.
And yes.. there is a part 2.. which will run in the November issue.
Congrats Jeff. Read the article at Chapters today [can't afford to buy].I hear part 2 [next issue] is where you finally announce that your coming out of the closet and admit you really HATE " traditional" hot rods and are finally building your 'dream car' a fiberglass, billit laden, 24 inch wheeled 51 Stude 4 door painted like .a easter egg. L.O.L. Good luck.
To bad they didnt get a hold of me. I might have one of the oldest Original piece of Jeff s work. He did it for a friend of mine when they were in high school.

Thanks again fellas.
WC---I know who you speak of…. and when the odd time i do get back home to Ottawa.I visit our friend, have a beer and see all my old work he kept during and after High school.
The More I drink,… the better it looks.
Awesome story Jeff. I gave the article to my daughter to read. She is 12, enjoys art, and lacks motivation for much else especially school. To keep her out of trouble this summer I took her to the local arts and crafts store and she selected a book on cartooning and a proper sketch pad, she has been working at it everyday.

That IS awesome…. I highly encourage anyone with kids to see if they are interested in any art form.and I speak on a broad range here,…. sculpture, photography, drawing ,painting, etc, etc…. also.. getting our kids into trades will be a lot more successful than a handful of useless degrees and no work.

Jeff - welcome to the Cobble Beach Concours d' Elegance car show - Class 19 - Street Rods.
i just received the listings for the participants in both Hot Rod classes and was very pleased to see your 32 pickup will be there. I will be your class host for the show. Last year we were treated so well at this show I felt I wanted to be part of it again this year by being a volunteer.
