Went to the show to check it out. Lots of cars and trucks, some venders and food. Lots of lowriders, very cool rides. If show is on next year I will be there. :) Saw the car limbo but missed the hop off. :( Good show with some different cars.
I didn't know about this beforehand and we didn't have time to go in, but I drove by and saw the signs, it looked like there was a pretty good turn-out. As a passer-by I did think it was a bit odd that there was no indication of what kind of show this was. Nothing on the signs ("car show"), no cars parked at the front, and for that matter I drove past on 2 sides of the property and couldn't see anything past the fence/berm other than the tops of vendor tents. I did see a nice green shoebox drive past, but someone else said it was a low-rider & tuner show. If I'd seen some hot rods or customs I might have paid the entry fee just to sprint through and support the cause, but I wasn't sure if I was going to find a field full of nice rides or one '78 Volare and a couple of tractors.
I heard they had 500 plus attend.............lots of low riders. hoppers and tuner cars..............at $40 to get in it was too steep for my budget this week.............................
