Hello everyone:

 

 

I am looking for 1/24th Scale Diecast model cars for my son.  He has started up a collection and I am hoping to assist with his collection by reaching out to those of you on here that I know and trust.  I have looked on Kijiji and have had no luck, was burned out of my gas getting to a location to buy a large collection of 63 cars, when I got there, he already sold them.  Drove from my home to Ancaster over the weekend.  Needless to say, I am not happy and gave the person a severe piece of my mind, especially after firming up details earlier that morning and agreed upon a time for me to pick them up at his home and he got an offer same day and sold them to him instead and didn't call me to be a "stand-up-guy" and tell me.

 

Enough of my drama.....

 

 

I want to fill up his shelves for Christmas and am hoping that someone on here has something lying around, large collection or small, if the price is reasonable, then I will buy them all.

Are you looking for built up vehicles or kits to be assembled? I have some older kits that I will be bringing to Ancaster on the 26th of Oct.

I may be willing to sell some of my collection, what are the types of cars he wants (NHRA,NASCAR)?? I also have some unbuilt model kits..

He is mainly interested in the 30's, 40's and 50's, maybe some muscle era. Not really a nascar fan or drag fan.

unbuilt kits for sure, he loves to build models, especially if they are of the diecast variety, but plastic as well.

Hey duck.... If you wouldn't mind, if you have something to offer to me for my son, great, if not, then find your own thread. I don't appreciate you "hi-jacking" my thread to try to find something for yourself.

If I was "selling" diecast, that would be a different story, but I'm not, am looking for a 10 year old boy.

there s so many things in life worth more to worry about than sharing a thread but if you bought and own the thread rights .............. have it your way
and if I had something to offer which I have lot of diecast I would have given it to your son for free
but not now          have fun in your dream world

Geeze Fishhook nice attitude, my stuff goes back into storage now. I wouldn't sell it to you now let alone donate it . For Christ sake .Hey Duck P M me with your wants I got a bunch of Nascar plastic and dicast I don't want any more maybe we can trade . Ed
