new member with a fresh topic : looking for history on my recent purchase . Truck is on page 89, top right of January30/11 issue of CANADIAN HOT RODS. 1937 flat black chevrolet truck named "HELLS BELLE" Was at Wrenchbenders August 4th event in 2010. I presume it was built in/around Ontarion by someone with many years of experience. Would like to know who built it or name, etc, etc. Was sold off to Saskacthewan . Talk to everyone and see if something can be dug up so I can answer questions when out and about. Thanks.do not look at lazer with remaining good eye
I know that truck very well! I followed it around South Western Onterrible for a few summers of cruising.
Built in East London by a buddy from Ipperwash at a mutual friend's shop.
It ran mid 11s with a roots blown SBC.
It was sold a few years ago to a guy in the Ingersoll area, who is an acquaintance of another buddy of mine. -I can find out more info if need be.
I believe the SBC has been removed and now sports a BBF stroker 460 and reworked suspension. I think it has a new name too, but I haven't seen it out and about since it got sold.
