$1.08 in North Bay area today. All kinds of predictions concerning how much lower it will go. Last expert opinion was a barrel could hit $40.00 by summer. So much BS!!

Went to Port Huron yesterday to help out the local economy, fill up at Olive Gardens, and fill up at Shell. Price there was $2.54/gal and that amounts to $0.67 a litre, not including exchange. The savings more than paid for the tolls on the bridge. And it's only 1 hour away.  biggrinbiggrin

Should be $1.02 a gallon..even with all the taxes we have been paying all these years why has it not gone into roads and bridges and infrastructure ??? Where has it all gone..

I heard someone today say, the last time that crude oil was $63.00 a barrel, gasoline was .85 cents a litre. Maddening!!!!

$59.95/barrel for crude as of this am. This will slow down fracking and will kill off some OPEC competition.

Oh I remember the days when I would put $50 bucks in truck, $35 in the waverunner and have change from a $100 bill for a pack of smokes and lunch. That was a great day at the beach. I used to go 3-4 times a week.
That same $100 day would be over double in fuel costs alone.

I turned on CNN just now to make sure the world is OK and I see that low gas prices are making headlines. This reminds me of around ten years ago when gas prices were high and Bush's chief economic adviser told him one day, .. Sir, I think you should know that the average price of gas in the country right now is 4 dollars a gallon. Bush said wow, really? I wonder how much it is in the city!
