Rollie Guertin is a fellow that strips full time for a living rollieguertin.typepad.com/ he did my car and I could not be more pleased with his results. Check out his web site which speaks for itself with samples of his work you can spend a lot of time on seeing it all. He does all types of work from cars to merry-go-rounds. He is worth a look see.

Thanks Smokin Joe, I've heard of Rollie in the past and he has a great reputation. Wolfman gave me a name and number as well. Doesn't hurt to have a few just in case its out of their way or to busy.
I waited six months for him to be in my area when he was going to visit his family and it was worth the wait. I hope you post the results here so get the camera charged and ready.

Donnie… your in Great hands with Rollie, he did my truck. He has done all of Candymans race cars. Also Ron Gibbs and Tramp Warner are pros.
I do not know Paul Lapp. but I have seen Jim's Phantom 409 race car up close and personal…. the work on the lettering and paint is OUTSTANDING! He is excellent.
Glad everything worked out for you Donnie, Rollie does great work, you'll be very happy.
Smokin Joe, I know Ron very well and haven't heard of him working with Rollie but it's possible .He has spoken highly of Rollie's work. It's a small community all these guys seem to know each other.
I spoke to Rollie last spring and he was working on a merry-go-round that was a very large job and I thought it was Ron he was working with. The wife is always telling me I am wrong all the time so this could be one of those times also.

LOL! That's what I said to my helper today, like getting my first tattoo! Brian my engines been out and gone for about a month. Don Palmer said by the end of January I should have it back. He's building me 501 Stroker using my 429 block, said I should have between 540 and 570 HP. That should be interesting.
I'm changing my rims and getting my headers redone. The white is cool and that's what I originally wanted but they do not hold up to well even though they are ceramic coated! This is a photoshop done on how the car will look this spring. The new engine will have dual carbs and they will come up through the hood so no hood scoop.
Thanks again. The headers wont be chrome, they will be the silver ceramic. My rebuilt transmission needs to be re-rebuilt to help with the new engine and I will need to change my torque converter, plus change over to an MSD box. $$$$ My car was finished when I woke up in March of this year 2014!
