Rob Potter here, again as I believe I joined a couple of years ago but lost the pw. Long time lurker.....
I've been working at Dragway Park since 86 as the photog, announcer, and historian and run the Drag Strip Memories show in April at the War Plane Heritage in Mount Hope.
I have a 67 Rambler American with a 396, glide with brake, 9 inch and four link. The slug ran 11.62 @ 115 this year on pump gas.
If you've been to the DSM show, you are aware that I am interested in preserving the history of the sport in this province and welcome anyone to display their pre 1974 ride. I've managed to amass a tidy collection, not near the scope of say the E.L.T.A. collection but certainly ton of photos. Most are mine but I've been blessed with many people allowing me to scan their albums or give them to me outright. I believe in sharing these images and continue to do so on facebook on the Canadian Drag Strip Memories site. I know most here are anti facebook but for a good of dragstrip porn, nothing beats it....
Anything I post on this site and any other, can be re-posted anywhere providing the name stays on the images. Oh yea and it's a good idea to not sell them at local swap meets that I frequent, not cool at all.....lol.
