What is it worth is the question.... I mean in $$$
1928 Chevrolet AB National Landau Coupe ... the original body was removed,, and a Depot Hack,,aka.. wooden station wagon ,, body was installed
5 yrs ago.. it ran. and could be driven.. today,, it would need tires.. battery, fuel system cleaned..
It was notorious for overheating.. I think the operator wasn't up to speed on the controls of this vehicle..
It has the throttle on the steering wheel... and the ignition advance, he was able to set to get it to start pretty easily,, but before he could leave the parking lot.. it would boil over..
A young gentleman was supposed to acquire it, but the owner passed away ,,, so the family has now decided it is all about the money.. and have decided they need a LOT more money .......
The young gentleman wants to Rod it in a way that it can be put back together as sort of original.... fairly easy..
Here is a picture similar .. with the original body on it..
I think the original coupe would of fetched 12 to 14 in good driving shape, depot hack might be worth something if you had a Depot and wanted a hack. Frankly its all a mute point anyway the original deal is dead. If the owner is asking more then he is willing to pay , move on.
I think you should take a huckster out for a long drive first before you buy one and take a couple of pain killers for your back before you leave. Like riding in an old school bus with no centre isle or seat springs.

Thanks for your input,, sigh,, it is disappointing to see the young man with interest in the old car,, have the carpet pulled out from under him, and held over his head... but,, it isn't my car ,,, moving on!
If the family has been watching Barrett Jackson and is not going to stand by the deal move on the market has changed . I think its a hard car to sell if too much money is put in it . We need young blood keep him hooked. Cheers Dana
