Here's mine with the tripower setup. Right now it's got a single 4 barrel but this will be going back on soon. Those air cleaners were from a company out of New York in the early 50s, called "Hi Power Speed Shop" but my brother in law made the caps for me because the originals were so pourous they looked bad and they originally just had a couple of wraps of window screen for filters.

Its been like this for a year now.
Put all new power brakes, steering.

As for the engine, it's almost back together, I hope to hear it in the spring.

How about a stock '71 340 Duster that retains it's original engine bay, with 68,000 miles, that still retains its original belts and hoses.

Nice    belts and hoses are 44 years  old    I'd be changing those or leave car parked  or get spares for trunk

Took them off a couple years ago, put them away, with the rest of the original factory parts. Hoses, belts, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap, rad cap, etc...

There are way too many engines with the distributors on the wrong end in this thread!

Here's a correct one:

Sounds like a plan. My 49 is pretty much original except for the paint, which was probably done in the 60's, and the interior that mice destroyed. The paint is in bad shape, she's what you call a 30 footer.
