Have had a coolant leak on the 5.7 chevy that was from the intake manifold right beside the thermostat housing. Coolant was pooling there. There was a threaded stud for a ground on the manifold bolt. I remember tightening that stud up a few mths ago. So last night I removed the stud and replaced it with a bolt washer and torqued it as well as the bolt beside it to specs.
End of leak without having to replace the intake gaskets.

I ordered the new gasket set for when it leaks in the future or when I have nothing else to do but play with truck.....2-1/2 yrs when I retire and looking for something to do...lol

You better do it now, once you retire you won't have time. Just ask anybody who has "retired".
It's a Chevy........ supposed to leak. You know how hard the engineers work to put that feature in there?
