Just found this site and hope an old retired guy like myself can learn a few things from you guys. Finally got my "honey-do-list" done so thought I needed another hobby to keep me occupied. Found an old 37 Chev Coupe which seems to keep me busy . The car is an old restoration done about 25 years ago ,the fellow that originally did it got tangled up in a bad divorce so he hide the car in storage for 23 years ...then he died .... his nephew got the car and didn't want it . I ended up buying it in October of 2013. Sitting in storage for that length of time has resulted in a few issues ( dried up seals, rotten gas tank, gas lines, plugged coolant system, etc. ) . Finally got the car running fairly decent now but will probably change the motor ( 307 ) to a 350 as it is a little tired . Looking forward to talking with you guys soon.
HI RICK : Welcome to Ontario Rodders , from up East in Portland Ontario . That is a beautiful '37 . Enjoy the site and keep us informed on your plans -- LATER -- DON / FLEET 51
Welcome from Vineland Rick. Motor swap eh......I noticed someone here has a Caddy engine / trans for sale. might make a neat swap.
There is also an ad for EARLY Chev V/8 engines. Worth thinking about because of the environment PO PO especially if you go into the Durham area. The way that Kathy,s clown is going she will be after all hot rodders to boost the Liberal coffers.
Thanks Moobster ........ is this "Bob Lambert" from Sarnia because that's where the car originate ? Great looking truck by the way ..... will we see it at cruise night this spring ?
Well Mr Knotsobrite I was wondering if that was you. Come on over some night and we will talk 37 chevs not HACCP! I would like to see if car as well. I do have a 37 chev coupe as well but it is not done.

No. The guy I was thinking of lived out the 9th. Hadn't seen that car for 10 years or more, thought it might be it. Was a pretty nice car last time I saw it.
Cruise night in Simcoe? maybe, if all the spots aren't already reserved by...lawn chairs...Lol
