Have already tried swapping out the stepper motors, only to find part of the board not working. Looking for a complete working cluster like the attached picture.
I am not sure on what the years are...my memory is poor. But there is a hidden GM warranty on GM truck instrument clusters. If you are good with your local GM dealer, speak to the service manager. I know they covered alot.
What they do is remove the cluster, send it to Toronto, have it fixed and return it.Or they Get your odometer reading and order you another and install it. Its an unadvertised GM warranty. Again, not sure of the years...I wish my head was better. its worth looking into. They use the same place in Toronto that repairs GM Clusters. GM had alot of wonky instrument clusters with gauges bouncing, inoperative etc. I know my 99 Tahoe I had did it. I couldn't warranty mine because it was from Florida despite it being low miles.
I hope you have luck....

Thanks Ghost. No warranty left on this one. The warranty back then, was for stepper motor replacement because the factory originals didn't last. This one has board issues. The top half of the board is dead and the bottom half just makes the gauges go psychedelic.
Thanks for the info Carl. These are hard to find because, everyone that had troubles gobbled up the used ones, as probably did the companies that refurbish them.
