In the story the author was asking if anyone knew of a 2 door Wagon before WW2and I think the Model A sedan qualifies, known as a 'Tudor'. I think at that early time they wanted to get as far away from the Wagon name as possible, as there were likely still plenty of horse drawn Wagons still on the roads in the late twenties.

These are in west Texas that I have hauled a pile of parts and pickups out of this guys yard Chrysler town and country New Yorker, 58 Nomad and a Yomen. Notice the bullet holes one all in a line in the last picture.

i converted my 63 acadian wagon over to a 2 dr using doors off a 2 dr post. haven't done much to it the last couple of years except put an i beam on the front
