Rob, great photos.
Just wondering if you ever remember seeing back in the day a tourquoise 64 ford galaxie. Had The Warlord painted on the side, ran out of Don Little ford in Richmond Hill.
I haven't been able to find any photos of it. I'm sure it ran at Cayuga and St. Thomas.
TIREDIRN : There was a turquoise '64 Galaxie running at the Picton Armdrop Drags this past summer -- I only saw it on the truck , as they had just sheared an axle -- LATER --- DON / Fleet 51
Thanks are in order for those posting all these great pictures.
One thing that would be helpful to those of us that can't always tell which tracks these photos were taken at would be to add that to the posts where possible.
If memory serves, and it doesn't always anymore, there was in the mid to late 60's I think it was white, '56 Chevy two door post that ran at Cayuga called "the Boss Canuck". Does anyone have information or a photo of that car?
Surprised you found that......many, many moons ago that was.
I think that was at the 3rd annual Funny Car Reunion, held at Englishtown. If I remember right, we took a couple of pistons out at around 4 seconds into the run. Actual carnage would have started when the switch was flipped, so would have been down on power from the get go.
That was a great period in life.....
Wow, excellent photos and memories, loved seeing the pic of Groovy Grubworm out of Braby's shop...
and Grumpy's camaro...was great to wander down memory lane...
Thanks,,,,keep em coming if you can...
Found this picture online. Recognized it as an Ontario. Might be Linda Vaughn and John Petrie's 'Cuda. License plate on Monaco maybe 1971. Don't know who's photo or what track.

Perhaps a little off topic, but are you any relation to the Val Potter that created this awesome drawing? :
Val Potter was a very talented artist and a very sweet person....I remember when she came out to the Piston Pusher meeting back then....she was so shy it's hard to believe I got a picture of her standing with her art work.....lol......a good memory for sure........didn't mean to get off topic...but Val was a great gal.
