You may have seen on the news, the rodder that lost his life south of Ottawa. I did not know him. R.I.P. he was only 54.
The news showed his flipped 1968 Cougar. What puzzles me is the picture of the intake manifold all alone on the side of the road.

The driver of a vintage “pony car” was killed early Saturday in a two-vehicle crash on Greenbank Road between Fallowfield and West Hunt Club roads.
Paramedics, police and firefighters responded to a 7:10 a.m. call for an overturned car with the driver trapped in the wreckage.
Firefighters used special equipment to extricate the victim from the car. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
Police said the collision occurred when a 1968 Mercury Cougar northbound on Greenbank attempted to pass a pickup truck pulling a small trailer and the vehicles “came into contact with each other”. The 54-year-old driver of the Cougar lost control of his car, which ran off the east side of Greenbank and rolled on to its roof.
The driver of the pickup truck was not seriously injured.
