my 50 chebby truck was built into a hot rod in the mid late 70,s v 8 4 spd posi independent susp frt end . under the 1975 to 77 corvette yellow ( not the 75 to 77 milners coupe yellow , the other one . ) . it has ancient red bondo under that paint , some places over 1/4 inch thick
it has a funky old sunvisor that doesn,t really fit that well , its rusty an axeually i don,t even like the f in pos , but theres no interior sunvisors , so it stays . the exhaust is too loud , you can see it looking at the truck from the sides . no carpet , bare metal . i took the fag carpeting out .
the shifters too short , you gotta reach down to get it rims are chrome bent blades that were popular in the 70,s
the passenger window winds it self slowly down over 50 60 mph on the highway
no radio
i,m getting all kindsa people coming up to me an telling me they love my truck an its really old school kool ... blah blah blah . to me it is ... and it really just is .. an old hot rod
ya know cheers to the guys that don,t drive in the rain or have to wait till it warm enuff you don,t have to worry bout condensation on the windhsield
me i drive my junk when an how i want , an don,t get too too upset if,n you see it with a load of top soil in the back ( it has after market rear leafs in it , its safe it can take the weight ) or at the drive in or parked at crappy tire , or princess auto with the windows down
I,m just doing what i do an its just an old truck earning its keep .
maybe i should call it a survivor hot rod ???.. ..77.
edit note I axeually like the 55 to 57 style better then this but i got a kickin deal on it .

The problem with everything in this world is once it becomes a contest (whether we want to compete or not) the guy with the most money usually wins. Unless you are talking good looking......... many a rich ucker is fugly.
I used to do the cruise thing in my well driven cars, If I wantes a trophy I'd have gone bowling.
I see these clowns with the brand new 6cyl "muscle cars" and ask, can't handle real power, buy the V8. The real answer is they want to pretend they have money but don't.
I curse, I swear and occasionally beat my driver with a hammer but it is still my pride and joy. Like what you like, all other decisions are made by the government.(or your wife)

in the last week I,ve had three notes left on windshield , want to sell or trade this truck ????.
been challenged by a coupla honduh heroes
been tailed , obviously , by one of barriers not finest , half way across town , more then once .
pulled onto 4 hunnert north at 8 th line , blended into traffic , got up to the travelling speed , passed a slow tandem dump truck , mostly stayed in curb lane , got off at essa , curb lane sitting at a light , 60,s ??? some thing yr old pulls up on my left an yells out , hey your gonna kill that truck driving it like that , these trucks weren,t meant to be drivin like that , then moves off .
hmmm just kept up with traffic , and the truck idling sounds far from stock idling , and looks far from stock .
at work I park at the back of the shop , if you look in the lot you can only see the nose of the truck , there,s two hotels up on the corner an you get lotsa people walking by some times . 2 old dudes an an old woman hobble all the way from side walk to the truck , give it the look over , then as they hobble death wobble back to the side walk , I hear both the guys , that truck is ruined , people shouldn't be allowed to do that . an I,m thinking if you hate modified vehicles , why oh why would you walk a 100 ft to go look at a truck that looks highly modified , why waste the energy ??? . ..77.

We,ve been dealing with a massive , 3 times to the shop , computer virus . Over the last few weeks or so . Leaving me for some unknown reason unable to open my photo bucket account , or post pictures to the web or be able to open or view pictures in other posts or on other internet sites .
