Ford 5.0 Fuel Injected Long Block Core - SOLD
Permalink

Hi guys. Posting this for my son. He aquired this 5.0 and at the time was told it was out of a Crown Vic. I have looked for casting numbers but have not been able to locate anything meaningful. The plugs look decent but we do not know anything about the engine's history. With that it's a core for someone...

He is asking $200.00 OBO. PM if interested.IMG-20150620-00235.jpgIMG-20150620-00236.jpg

yes you are correct, it is C/V not mustang.

the top plate (black) would say H.O. and valve covers would be aluminum.

Should be a roller cam block ( but not roller cam equipped)

Distributor should have a decal E6AE-12127-xx

verifying C/V
Price is good for a runner.

That funky forward facing dipstick tube makes me think it's from an econoline, but I'm no expert.

This is a last-ditch effort to move this engine along before scrapping it...so, here is my new offer: make a $50.00 donation to any children's charity and it is yours! Note, delivery is no longer possible as I sold my utility trailer. Cheers.
