Wish I'd known this forum was here ; just cleared out a barn full of old sbc parts and pieces . Wouldn't you know , I kept all the project cars and bikes , much to wife's chagrin . Not much activity here in downtown Cromarty . You here somewhere , Chuck ? Be safe...Bob.

ROMAX 55 -- Welcome from up East in PORTLAND -- Got some photos and a little " story " about you and your ride ??? -- Again , Welcome -- LATER -- DON / Fleet 51
Finally retired from the rat-race and looking forward to finishing MANY project vehicles , a 55 Chevy 210 , a 48 GMC pickup and a 70 VW Standard bug/Baja ; also an old 750 K4 Honda and a 70 RT1 -360 Yamaha . Thought retirement would be relaxing , but sofar has been the busiest time of my life . Then my wife decides NOW's the time to build that cottage we always talked about in Tobermory ; lucky the [projects know how to wait . I'll see if I can post some pix here too . Be safe...Bob.

Geeze Bob long time.. I have also locked the shop for all intents and purpose's..but it will take some adjustment as I still have trouble to say no...some days I am glad for a little job but even the little jobs can hurt..Good to see you here ..Bob and old Rodder from way back before we ever had any tuners on our island..when we only had the big three and an odd Austin. Prefect or Vanguard..and maybe a Morris minor ..
Thanks for the warm welcomes from you guys ; the late 50's found us kids scrounging parts in the old Corey's (Saddy Brothers) on Phyllis Street . My first vehicle was rescued from the stacks going to the crusher , a 51 Studebaker pickup ; like a lot of us , it was just too ugly to throw away . Nice to discover this site , even if a little late in life ; my good days come and go , but lately been getting lots done . Unfortunately , not a lot on my car and truck projects . Looking forward to yakking with you all . I have lost a few more of my closest car-friends over the last couple of years , and share your grief for your friend Les . Lost my old friend Beaky (Ronnie Stevens) a year or so back , and still hardly believe it . Be safe...Bob.
