Does any one know we're I can get paint for painting my dash and what it's actually called I live in Cambridge so if anyone knows of somewhere local to get it that would great

No help on where to get paint. On the 57 I had it painted gloss black and it is a pain when the sun shines on it so I recommend a semi gloss paint. I would think and rattle can would do to paint your dash.

Or no gloss, as in flat.

All depends on the angle of your windshield. My 61 truck dash is done in base/clear and no reflections.
Had an 80 Lincoln Town coupe and couldn't even put armoral on the dash, I couldn't see anything with the glare. Ended up using a dash mat on it.
