hi

have  accel coil from my old chevelle and its   square type , yellow , pretty  cool.  my?   is its been hanging  on wall for at least 15 yrs.    how do you tell if any good, would look kinda cool on my t -bucket

Sounds like an old acel.. coil,  try it is good way unless you have some ohm specs for it

Those coils are designed to work with a points type distributor, your T bucket has that, right?

The accel big old yellow coils work fine with electronic ignitions. For points you have to use a special ballast resistor or you will cook the coil.

I think I still have two or three of them kicking around. I don't think I have ever had one die on me.
