I need to ship an engine on a pallet from Iowa to Wellesley Island NY.  Has anyone any experience with companies in the US that will handle this?

I used Ben DeLozier  T&A Transport 417-818-0844, tandatransport@gmail.com out of Missouri. He was recommended to me by a rodder in Grand Rapids Michigan. Ben brought him '32 body parts from California. He brought torque thrusts with tires for me from California via Texas to just north of Detroit. Communication was excellent, did what he said and things went right on time as he had outlined with the exception of a truck brake down which he worked out in the end. Price I think was fair. He has a pickup and trailer and will haul all sorts of things. Worked for me even though my seller was unable to ship or help in any way. Ben worked it out. Ben is also on the HAMB if you are familiar with the Jalopy Journal .com.

I have had good luck with the Fastenal chain. They ship palletized items across country pretty cheap. I used them to get a seat from Oklahoma to Nashville.........took about a week and a half, but got there in one piece. just have to go to a store and ask them about this service.
