yeah 78 short box has a 302 in it, was a stepside.. plan for a fleetside.

The plans an 03-11 crown vic front suspension swap, lower the ass end to match.... hopefully get the body all squared away... shave the bed pockets and drip rail maybe shave the door handles not sure...also might relocate the tailgate handle to the inside of tailgateshave the handle... want to get a 75-77 grill.... cowel hood (maybe not) interior mostly stock the bench is in good shape but buckets aren't out of the question.. paint unsure of yet nothing to flashy I like the patina look but would be hard to duplicate with so much rust repair and replacement panels...

Driveline I plan to put a BB in it at minimum but also looking at a newer fuelly swap... I like the new Coyote 5.0L's or a 4.6 swap from a stang.. sort of up in the air... ive got a lot to do before then anyways.. its got a 9" guy claimed it was 4/11 gears I doubt it but will see... 28 spline axles ive got a 31 spline laying around here I might upgrade to... rims I have no idea yet with the crown vic swap im limited as they have a weird backspacing and min 16" rim size to clear the caliper.

Nice project, if you go late model D/line are you in the Part of Ont. that doesn't have the road side MOE emission inspections?? [YET] seeing them out in Durham Region as well as MOT doing safety inspection on both cars & commercial vehicles & Lady in Lic. office here said there will be a "crack down" on Historic plate "miss Use" SOON!!!!!! I guess if you build the truck with all the emissions on it no worries

yeah im in the area... know of a guy who got pulled over had a newer fuelly engine in his truck got the notice to make it legit.. they don't do any emisions test they told him its all visual so he just stuck a pcv valve on... a charcoal canister on the fender and it passed there inspection... they knew nothing was hooked up to work but it had it so it passed this may change but for now it works... there are bigger fish to fry in my opinion the MOE/MTO should be looking elsewhere for a cash grab.

lol
small world

DJD = I like Fords Too = Dr Johny Dodge if you go to the turbo dodge .com site

got your text this morning - might just as well reply here

the weekend after this one comeing would probably work better
truck is jamed into a storage locker and I need some time to make things seeable rather than climbable

so , yeah next saturday comeing would likely be best

I already have two 73-4 grilles for it along with one set of 3-4 clear front turnsignals

severial sets of inner door panels though I sadly just busted the corner off one of my best ones stuffing it into the locker

truck comes with a pair of black leather 86 dodge daytona seats that match the pattern on the door panels nicely
also a tan 80's bronco console

minto black dash pad
nice cluster with full face metric conversion decal on 100 mph speedo
cluster surround trim is nice - radio opening is still mint and intact

tail lights and side marker lens' are really nice too

one pair each new doors and fenders - good o-e tailgate with no rot
