Does anyone know who carriers R-M paint in our area ? (Toronto to Kingston ) I'm looking for a R-M paint, single stage known as UNO. From what I'm told it's the best single stage paint and has survived the VOC regulations. I miss the good old days when I used centari, but those days are long gone. I'm not a PPG fan.
Thanks!

I miss centari and I even used the lesser Nason brand with great results. I painted my coupe with Nason years ago and it still shines. I tried the PPG single stage (various types) and found the cover was not very good and got sun fade in a few years after. Now I'm reading from painters that this BASF R-M UnO is great stuff. Sent a message to BASF asking for distributer lists for my area. The list they sent was fast, but none of them carry it, but are quik to give me other places they say have it.. Guess what.. They don't either. lol. I did find one in Toronto that does. Waiting on a price now and making time for a city trip.
Not to sure of any RM distributors anymore, was a user of the RM line for a very ,very long time..we have moved on to the PPG line and the single stage Urethane equivalent would be Concept,it is a wonderful paint too. We purchase our paints through Kevin McBride at Brighton Automotive 1 (613) 475-3685, great folks, very knowledgeable and has a lot of show at paint jobs himself under his belt!

HI BOWTIE :: If you phone REG CLYNE , in Perth , Ont --613-264-0872 , I am sure he can help you . He is a terrific , very knowledgable , ex-painter and now an R-M outlet . He supplied all of my paint products for my '51 Fleetline -- If I can be your legs up this way , just holler -- LATER -- DON / Fleet 51
Thanks Chris Stapley. I also know Kevin McBride at Brighton Automotive. I'm also good friends with Jeff Phillips who works there. I have tried the PPG and it's OK, but I was told the R-M Uno was better. More like the Centari. Well guess what. I found some.. Way out of my price range. $400 for just the paint alone. I guess I'm going back to PPG, but I may try a higher brand of PPG than the OMNI.
