1st thing on a Sunday morning :(

I had to use my authority @ the track Sunday morning by throwing out a 'mom & dad' and their 2 JR dragsters for disbelief  3.1 Participant Conduct NHRA Jr Dragster rulebook.

It's not a Hockey rink or a Soccer field, it's a Drag Strip

Can you explain what they did?
But if it's anything like hockey parents, you probably did good.

Accusations of cheating because they 'lost to the other kid'- he cut a better light plain and simple

I don't know, maybe the fact that the other kids on-board 'fire suppression' bottle had a tiny braided line running to the intake manifold is what really ticked them off winkbiggrin

Kind of reminds me of all the cheating that went on in the U.S. with the soap box derby cars  biggrin  .....don't know why or when all this coddling of darling children started but it seems to be getting worse .  It puts the wrong idea in the kid's head , too .

Wow , usually I don't pay much attention to the jr,s . But usually they are all pretty happy . I,ve seen a few kids get a bit weepy over looseing . Those lil cars are pretty open , you.,d have to hide your illegal mods either in plain site , or really well .
I,m gonna make a guess at , A) car sponsored by dad,s company . B) its either construction , excavating or trucking C) theyre from the Dudebridge ha ha ..77.

Being a kids coach for many years it is amazing what people think of there kids, next world famous whatever. Different sports but at one time or another you will always find a parent somewhere like that. Good of you to do that though. Bet kids are real proud of mom and dad after that. Look my folks got kicked out of the track so cool, not.

An easy fix........ make the parents have to run beside the child's Jr. start to finish. Second the car must run a minimum of 300 mph. "Now, how much fight you got in ya?"

Interesting you mention that  and good for YOU !!

I was at Grand Bend and pointed out to my friend, the "actions" of the parents at the starting line

just like at a hockey game

I saw two mothers using the Fxxk word everytime their kid got beat,,red lit

I would say theres lots of "verbal abuse of the kids" in the pits......

not much "fun" for most of the kids

Good job...Can't tell you how many times I've seen parents ruin a sporting event by hollering and screaming about something they didn't like about how little bobo was treated! I coached Tball one year...what an experience that was!!!..lol

embarrasing as hell for the kid when parents act like a$$holes. at that age the kids are very impressionable too.

It's all about the Mom or Dad's dream to become the next super star, really has nothing to do with what the Kids wants. Go to the States and see how hard the parents push the Kid's to be successful at sports of any kind.
