Great antique ATLAS porcelain sign...

I've had it for 20+ years.....time to purge and clean up...

118" x 28" x1"

Showing it's age...some chips/minor rust....but solid...

Excellent for the shop or Man cave......

Asking $400 ...or trade for vintage BMW motorcycle stuff...

As many others will say    I would pay 400.00  easily  IF you were closer    I am out on Lake Huron      I'd love it

Yes, proximity is usually an issue.....I was just offered $600...IF I deliver it to Toronto...

Do we think $400 is "light"?

Was Atlas a brand of Imperial Oil (ESSO)?

 Was a brand of tires, batteries, wiper blades etc. that Imperial stations sold.

AWL/Steego (McKerlie Millen) was the last kick at the can with Atlas, they wanted the humongous warehouse in Toronto so bought tHe brand,when I worked at McKerlies as a manager we sold Atlas brand tires etc until about 1997... Neat sign, I think you're being fair with the price honestly because remember,large signs have less buyers too!

Have had it for so long....but not really my "thing" anymore....
need some $$ for unexpected house repairs....
odds of selling this locally (Ottawa) is pretty slim......no buyers here...

Gotta be honest Ash, I'd take the $600 offer in Toronto,it's a big sign,not terribly sought after and only okay condition.. You'd get more if it were a nice Blue porcelain Goodyear or a decent Coca Cola,but Atlas just doesn't demand it.. I have a near mint CIL ,very bright yellow,very beautiful,two sided and I cannot get anyone excited for $750 so it stays in my shop hanging,from the ceiling!
