i'll be there on the 10th racing nostalgia. the new nostalgia series is proving quite popular - 28 cars entered in the august event.

  Hi.

 I was looking at the Shannonville site after I read your post. How are they classifying the cars ? Like they did back in the day or just run an ET ? I miss the days of tuning and power shifting  a car at the drags.

 powerglide pete. it doesn't lift but transfers the weight nicely and launches consistantly. with a 3 speed it would likely lift.

was there for that weekend and had a blast,,the orange nova gasser is mine and i got to take that primered willys for its first pass down the track,,,,,,loved watching that GTX launch,,,,the cars were hooking good,,,,,thanks for the pictures

Thanks, but the Willys isnt mine,,,anymore...sold it to a friend about 6 years ago,,,put it together for him last winter with a 454 in it,,,he gave me the honor of taking it for its first run,,,wasnt sure if he was being nice or just seeing if it would go straight lol

ahh...thanks for clarifying Larry! Nevertheless, still two awesome cars and I am sure you had sellers remorse after letting the Willys go. yes that was quite an honor, lets give him the benefit of the doubt that he was being nice...
