I have had this picture for over 40 years from Car Toons magazine. I just wanted to share because I still think it's cool.

Your right. That is a cool picture.

Thanks for sharing it. 40 years why it seems just like, well 45 years ago.

I loved that magazine! I remember reading it when I was young (10-12 years old). It was one of the reasons I got into cars. Every exaggerated drawing I saw of hot rods, was the way I thought they SHOULD look like! I'll definitely be looking forward to its return!

I read it was making a come back, but that was a few years ago. Not sure how it would go over with young kids today, but I know us old kids would llove it.

It is nice to see CARtoons return to the shelves BUT the artwork aside from Trosley is pretty lame and the stories aren't much better. Hopefully the magazine will return to its former glory (and quality) but I didn't bother renewing my subscription. I'll check out the odd issue on the shelves and if things improve, I'll renew. Otherwise I'll just reread my old collection (every issue from the beginning until 1974, then some odds and ends until they stopped). The new subscriptions are pricey in US currency for a Canadian magazine so until the quality improves, I'll sink more into my ride instead. Nice to see Trosley is still at it though.

Hmm, hopefully, they revive CARtoons, for the next generation to enjoy them as well.
