I would like to paint my engine block gloss red.  I see there is high temp paint at Canadian Tire, made by VHT.  When I look at the instructions it is all very normal stuff, clean first, light coats of paint, etc.  It then says to cure it at 300 degrees for 2-3 hours.  How are you to do that and is it important?

In the wifes oven?....not too likely

I have had good luck stating the engine and letting it run a few minutes, shut off and cool down....Do that a few times.
