Almost 15 months ago I paid Wintec/Coolflex over $3800 for a glass body and parts. I was told it would be 4-6 weeks delivery. Guess what, 15 months later, numerous phone calls and emails. and with the help of the Connecticut DCP Fraud Unit, and the Ct BBB, I finally got the remainder of my parts and a refund for the balance. Without these guy"s help, I would probably be out a bunch of money. I wouldn't recommend this company to anybody.

considering some of the other horror stories you hear about out there pertaining to very similar circumstances, i would think you are a pretty lucky guy coming out of it the way you did. good for you pushing the right buttons and not giving up on it. a lot of people would of just walked on it figuring they were screwed. good for you.

Not that it matters but it apppears that Wintec is based out of Wallingford Conn and deals with a lot of T-bucket stuff.  That rang a few bells as Total Performance, once owned by Mickey Lauria and bought out by Speedway, also used to deal with T-bucket stuff and were once based in Wallingford Conn.  Did a bit of googling and supposedly either the building Wintec is using now or was previously using before they expanded is actually the old Total Perfomance shop.  Not only that, Coolflex was started by Mickey Lauria (of Total Performance) and is now combined with Wintec.  Wintec is presently owned by Jim Wilkos and Total Performance was owned by Mickey Lauria.  Again, none of this seems to matter, just surprised with how connected these two companies seem to be ..... wonder if Mickey Lauria is connected to the new company in some way.  Again, not that any of this matters.
