mine get parked the end of oct......can't see paying insurance any longer on the off chance I will have a good weekend day .
But I do drive the other antique........the 25 yr old 90 chevy 4x4 all winter. Tomorrow it goes on the hoist for its annual undercoating.

Pontiac is winterized, socked w/SeaFoam & on the trailer & backed into shop [ 2 for1 storage] Avanti has been winterized & SeaFoamed BUT can still get it out for 1 "last ride" Filled both tanks with "non" ethanol fuel !!!!!! Now I'm going into "WITH DRAWEL" till spring!!

As I've said before, neither of these are trailer queens. If there's no snow and no anti-snow **** on the asphalt then when the sun's shining the wheels are turning.

SeaFoamed? tried it once and never again snake oil lol

Worked great for me last winter, Garden tractor w/snow blower got water in the gas, after I got it started gave it a shot of seaFoam in the tank while running, engine ran like a bag of $hit for a few minutes then smoothed right out & never had a problem as long as I kept some in the gas. Works as a gas line antifreeze [& yes I tried that b-4 using seaFoam, didn't do a dam thing] & also a fuel stabilizer!! Today's fuel goes "DEAD" so fast [ non ethanol last longer] I really believe this stuff works!! Just my experience with it & MOP Pete

x2 pete although i use startron which is essentially the same. having spent time in the marine business you learn in a hurry what works and what doesn't.

Had the a car out for a photo shoot for an advertisement so this weekend I will tuck it away. I never use any additives in high test gas. Only use stabiliser with the ethanol gas.

You may not have the room for it (due to multiple carbs, firewall space or whatever), but I absolutely LOVE factory GM HEI's. One firing the engine and a complete spare (incl cap and coil) in the vehicle somewhere. I've never lost spark and needed to change one on the road, but it's a nice feeling knowing I can if I have to.
yea tru . pertronics not throwing a spark . it had a hei in it when I got it 8 or so yrs ago . but cap rubbed on firewall so I changed to peretronics with smaller points style cap an dist body . I,ve used pertronic in my drag cars before , but ran into trouble , with no charging system , then have to boost charge battery . oh look mr pertronics is no longer with us . today just shut off like a light switch
and yes I have carried spare hei,s I other gm,s . just to be safe ..77.

really haven't stopped driving the beast. its beside the garage fully charged and full of go-go juice. was down to the harbour with sandy the dog today for a coffee and timbit.
Parklane, I hate to say it but they are the best. See what you need is something that cuts through the snow down to asphalt. Lots of traction that way. That and I cut some grooves across the face of the plywood. Now if only I could get the heater to work.

From what I can see from the pictures I am thinking if you cut down the drafts you might get away without a heater. Doors might be a good start.
