Steve's Diesel 905-623-1411 he rebuilt my Ford runs fantastic. He usually has extra engines around and tell you anything you want to know about diesels. His 55 Chevy pickup he has built a triple turbo Duramax for it 600 horse 1,000 Ft. pounds of torque. Body in progress.

If you're ever down in Aylmer, check out Noah at New Equipment Company. He has barns full of all manner of diesel engines, new and used. He builds a lot of irrigation pumps and generators. He's Amish so reaching him by phone isn't always easy, leave a message he'll get back to you.

no offence and not trying to be an ass but you might have better search results using the correct word "cummins " not cummings

Which Cummins? They made many different 4 cylinders. The best one would probably be a 4BT. They were available in bread trucks with an Adaptor to run a chevy TH400. They are basically the older 12v Cummins 6BT minus a couple of cylinders.

I also like the 4-53 Detroits but they are pretty heavy. They rev well however and love abuse. They are only happy when being beat on. You can get them very inexpensively. They were in a lot of equipment as a pony motor, and in a lot of military equipment since they will happily run on junk fuel.

Yup. 4BT is the nice one, they are 3.9 litre and as someone said earlier ,they are simply a short wheelbased version of the one in Dodge trucks. also used in a lot of construction equipment,we sold New Holland dozers (DC70) that used them,lots of loaders etc..too...

        Any clips we found (with motor and trans and front end ) are 3800-4500 U.S.    This way Andrew can drive down and I can drive it home    Its only money

Andrew is 40 and owns a Diesel reopair shop and wants to install a stock Cummins just for crusing with his boys
