Got some older finned Corvette valve covers today. The rear lights have always bugged me, they stick out ans are all plastic, even the housings.... Today I found a pair of original rear lights for a 51 Beetle, the glass snowflake ones... Popped them out of the VW housings, as well as the little bezels. Just need to replace the reflectors. And I have a pair of real nice small lights. Always did like the early Beetle lights!

C'mon dude, having it right there in front of you should inspire you to get it on the road. I don't have all the fun tools either and my shop shares space with my wood-working tools in an old barn with a cracked cement floor - and I know a couple guys who consider my set-up exotic next to theirs, lol.
Jeff the truck is sooo nice already, yeah, there's a lot to do but man, when I imagine it rumbling at a light it gets me stoked - and it's not my truck. Let's go !!

I have no where to do it. I have looked for workshop space for nearly 2 years now. Cheapest I could find was $1500 a month. Totally disillusioned to be honest!

Any place to add on, or build another shop? At those rates it would be paid for in no time. Anytime I have to rent for more than three months, I seriously look at buying. Whether it's tools, vehicles, or in this case a building. Best of luck to you. Sniper

This makes me feel sad. Almost makes me want to buy it back... Got into 4x4's a couple years ago, all my cash goes to that. Wish I would have never sold it...

Jeff make sure you read this statement from the previous owner.
I know from experience you will regret selling.
If you have a yard put up one of those portable garages.
 Just my honest opinion.
Every old guy on here I'm sure has sellers regret at least once but probably ten times.

Oh I know about selling and regretting.... Done it far too many times, Below are just a few of the ones I should of never sold.
I would gladly trade the Truck to have any 1 of them back. That is why I know my time with this truck is over.

I really like this truck! I hope you find the space/energy to get back at it.

Well..... Not much interest shown in it so far. Will see what happens in the next week or so. After that, will probably part it out. I was surprised how much all the parts are worth!
