i sold my bel air a few months ago and I saw this forsale for a good price so I picked it up. 305 with a three speed auto, fuel pump was bad so I changed it, I think the carb needs a cleaning. needs a drivers side floor as well

 Me too as well. I've been on the look out for a decent square body Chevy for quite some time now and I'm glad I ended picking up a 78 over 80-87.

Damn you guys got nice trucks! Hopefully mine'll look half as good when I'm done haha. But ayyye! I got it started today. i switched out the carb for another 2 barrel that I know worked and if fired right up. Put it in gear and got nothing so looked on the tranny dip stick it was bone dry! So I poured some in but it's god a bad leak i think either from the dipstick O-ring or the pan gasket. But anyways it runs and drives now, needs an exhaust bad!! I thought I was gonna pass out just going around the block haha.
