model 18 - 1st v8   model B- 4 cylinder  serial numbers were designated by type of engine . a few of the early # had AB . Canadian numbers are totally different.

Ok ILL add it before you ask Canadian 4cylinders for 32 started with CB followed by one of the following letters G, Q , W ,E , R ,T so CBG would of been an early model . CBT would be going into the 33 production year. I don't have any details on the V8 serial .

Canadian V/8 1932 ford serial numbers begin with either C18D or C18R

Obviously if it's a 1932 Ford it should be titled as a 1932 Ford.  The way you worded the above sentence makes me think what you're looking at "appears" to be 1932 Ford based but is not actually (and never was) a 1932 Ford, but is presently titled as a 1932 Ford.

Be careful as the Canadian gov't has some very specific laws regarding importing "kit cars" or what they view as "kit cars" and you might just find (AFTER paying for the car and arriving at the border) that the Canadian gov't, once able to actually view the vehicle (like as in "border inspection"), determines it to be nothing more than a fraudulently titled "kit car".  "Off to the impound with this one" is a very realistic possibility.

Unless the numbers posted were just filled in as an example ( not a good idea to post full serial on open form) I went and looked . American B series started Nov31 1931 as AB 5000000 and ran to aug 1934 ending with B5292536 so B711523 doesn't JIVE .  Not that anyone would notice other then I just posted it on an open form........
