Well this is my 32 Ford 5-window which was originally hotrodded by my dads cousin back in 1955 in Fort Erie. I have now owned it since 1992. When I first redid the car I had sold the Flathead and put a 283 Chevy motor in it and ran it in grey primer until 2004 when it was taken off the road for a rrar wishbone failure and to the backburner it went. In 2007 I had the opportunity to get the body and paint done the way my cousin had it which was 54 Buick Titian Red. So since that was happening I decided to get the Flathead back in there as he had it and make the whole car as correct as I could. Well it has been a long road but I am really close now and it should be seeing the road this summer.
Oh yeah, started reading the story before looking at the photos and panicked a bit. I see you have turned around and made everything right again though! Lol.. Had a really cool early sixties built Model A coupe here in town that had sat undisturbed and era correct until his son(my age) "street rodded" it a coup,e years ago, worst part was when he threw away the Olds 371 and unchannelled it ,he never finished either, now it is an unfinished 90s street rod....
