Hogtown Metal Shaping Meet 2016 (Toronto)

APRIL 16-17 , 2016

The fifth annual Hogtown Meet will be held at my work place on the third weekend of April this year.

I will bring all my shaping equipment from home but we could always use more shaping stuff such as e-wheels, hammers, bags, stumps, etc.

E-wheels are extremely important and a few guys brought theirs last year. I appreciate the effort they took and it would be great if it could happen again.

I have manual shrinkers and stretchers and also the Baleigh power shrinker/stretcher to play with. We have enough TIG welders so we're OK there.

BBQ lunch will be served both days.
Both days we will get started at 9:00 AM and run until everyone's burned out.

The meet will be held in the Markham Road/Finch Avenue area in Scarborough. (Toronto)

If you have a large project let me know as the time gets closer, I can see if we can have enough space for everything.

If you wish to attend please reply to this thread so I have an idea of how many are coming.

2721 Markham Rd. #25
Scarborough, ON M1X 1L5

Thanks,

Wouldn't miss it.

Can Bring my E Wheel. People might be surprised  at how easily you can build one yourself that is worlds better than a P.A pos.

It would be great if you could make it. Or, just come down for some bench racing and lunch.

That's always welcome.

Hey, Pugsy,

I'd like to come down on the Sunday and get some tips to hopefully apply to some armouring. I have planishing hammer and dishing stump I can bring along.

Hello Pugsy, Dave here. I am going to have to back out of the event as I am going to end up working so will not make it. A little disappointing but hopefully I will make it next year. Thanks for hosting the event.

Pugsy

Stopped in today for a peek at what was happening.   Nice shop and you had a good turnout of people beating up on some metal.

I dont have any projects in the works but was interested in attending.

Thanks for the open door policy.

It was nice of you to drop in and hang out for a while Cliff. Bench racing is a huge part of the meet.

We had a few others drop in to say hello as well.
