if you cut the shaft of either a 318 or 440 dist you can make a dodge electronic ignition dist to fit
I can't remember off hand if the 318 or 440 shaft is long enough to cut to fit
a slant 6 housing would give you a stubby dist housing if that helps as the 6 cylinder ones are much shorter but the bottom still fits the hole in the block

You don't have to cut anything, all you need is to buy an extension for the intermediate shaft that hooks onto an LA (small block) Mopar, distributor.
Too bad I saw this too late, I just bought a 354 two weeks ago, could've used this for spare parts.

Pretty sure 440 dist fits without any modifications. 392 would need a extension.[ Hot heads] Record quick sale for me. Need room and selling stuff for what I've got in them. More to come.
yeah I had an extension and a cut down 440 accell duel point
I'd take a small block shaft and a trip to the machine shop over that extension contraption any day
but it's been so long since I figured it out I can't remember now if the 6 cylinder housing was a needed part of the plan as it would leave extra shaft length being almost the height of the cap shorter
in a mopar workshop it would be a free electronic ignition that clears any firewall made outta shop junk lol
