Today I visited the Wally Parks NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona California. I saw some wonderful things, including a 1953 Studebaker which is near and dear to my heart in particular. Lots of (in)famous drag cars, etc. Link below is a pretty large collection of pictures.
I saw on the event calendar that Tommy Ivo is celebrating his 80th Birthday at this museum on Saturday of this week. There are a few pics of his 4 engine car which just arrived for the event (It wasn't a part of the permanent collection at this point, just saw it roll-up outside on a ramp truck)

PS: The Dragmaster/Dragliner cars I saw were featured in this video in 1959, which I'm sure most of you have seen before: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LaF0P27h9s

Great pics, it looks like a bucket list trip item,
I met the owner of the '70 Mustang originally owned by Tony Rainero and sponsored by Stark Hickey Ford two years ago at the Mustang 50th in Las Vegas. The car is beautiful and I have a video of it running. The motor was taken apart in 1978 and stored until the restoration 3 years ago. It is a '70's vintage Super Stock and modern engines don't sound quite the same.

Here is me with Tony Rainero:
We sat on those concrete blocks and talked for about a half hour.
Here's me getting a small thrill:
